ProShip shipping experts explain label modifications and Advanced Rate Shopping at Converge in Orlando.

The 2021 peak shipping season is predicted to be more active than the 2020 season – with capacity constraints likely, as well as new peak surcharges announced each week that we creep closer to peak. So how can shippers prep for a hectic shipping season if many of the factors, like surcharges and carrier partners, are already set in stone?

While much of the 2021 peak prep should have already been completed, there are still a few things shippers can do.

  • Dive into data to understand as much of your shipping profile as possible.
  • For those already owning the technology, prep and research your omnichannel strategies.
  • Be intentional with any supply chain actions you take.

While these are high-level and broad tips, ProShip will complete a deep dive on a few key strategies and processes for the upcoming peak season. Learn more about them at Converge 2021.

What Everyone Ought to Know About Shipping Label Modification

In this session, ProShip experts will cover an overview of label modifications and custom documents. Those who attend will discover the differences between custom labels and DocTabs, what carriers allow to be customized on a label, the requirements for getting labels approved and how ProShip helps to accomplish it all within the platform.

Experts will provide key information for building your own label, sharing the pros and cons for utilizing this kind of customization. With a look at how a partner like ProShip can simplify this process, speakers will explore a comprehensive and broad overview on label modifications and how compliance fits into that program.
