Two CVP Automated Packaging Solutions were installed by UK retailer, Internet Fusion, to drive optimal performance in sustainable e-fulfillment
London, 27th September 2018 - Neopost Shipping, a leading global supply chain technology solutions provider welcomed a new e-commerce retail customer for its CVP Automated Packaging Solution in the United Kingdom, Internet Fusion Group (IFG). The CVP auto-boxing technology was selected by IFG to support its goal for strategic sustainability.
The CVP measures, constructs, tapes, weighs and labels each parcel in one seamless process and creates a custom fit-to-size box every seven seconds. It uses an average of 29% less corrugate material, reduces or eliminates unnecessary void fill and reduces the dimensional volume of packages by an average of 50%. This cost-effective automated packaging solution makes fulfillment fast, cheaper and more sustainable. The speed and sustainability of the CVP was crucial for entering into collaboration with Neopost.
