A first-of-its kind two-day training program at ProShip, Inc. enabled FedEx subject matter experts (SMEs) to gain valuable information and insights on ProShip products and support. The successful knowledge-sharing program will enable both companies to better serve their mutual customers.
“We gave the FedEx SMEs full access to our software and our people. They met the ProShip engineers and account teams that work with their customers, gained critical insights on the many features of our software and how it works, and saw our customer service processes in action. We were very transparent in putting the FedEx team through the exact same training we use for our own employees. In turn, the FedEx SMEs shared their shipping and logistics expertise with ProShip,” said Alan Hopper, Director of Business Development, of ProShip. “The takeaway for us is that FedEx knows we will deliver what we promise and that we can approach any issues together to the benefit of our mutual customers.”

ProShip was selected for the training because it is a FedEx® Compatible Diamond Solution provider, the highest level in the FedEx shipping and delivery program. Four SMEs, one from each FedEx region, attended the ProShip training. Each SME will then train others in their region on ProShip’s capabilities and service levels.
